WEATHER LUCK OUT

Here in Kentucky we went to bed last night not knowing what to expect as far as the weather was concerned.  Living on the line of the Ohio River, you just never know.  During the night I was awaken by rain and sleet, so I didn't sleep very well.  Got up this morning to a lot of water standing in the yard.  As the day went on it kept trying and trying to snow, it actually poured down at times, but this is about all we got!

I'm not complaining, I'm really not a snow lover, but I do enjoy seeing it I just don't like dealing with the things that come along with it.  Everyone here is like, "I wish it would get cold and snow", and I'm like, "let's open the pools and I'll wear my flip flops!"

Anyway, I know you are so much better off knowing my feelings on snow that I will sleep better tonight!  LOL!  Hope the weather where you are is what you want it to be, but safe.

Sleep tight!, Hugs,
Ginger

  1. Hey Ginger, hope you had a wonderful Christmas in your new home. I could care less if I never saw another snowflake, faux ones are fine by be, today we had heavy rain and high winds. We may get snow on Saturday. Hope not! Stay warm, G! xo

  2. We actually had a white Christmas here in Texas! I think we had 2-4" in this area. Some of it melted yesterday and I'm sure it will be gone today...supposed to be in the 40's. :)

  3. No white Christmas, or December, here in my area of Seattle, but one of the outlaying towns got 2 feet (which knocked over trees and closed the freeway going into town and so they were all stranded there on Christmas....I totally understand what you mean about not liking the stuff that comes with snow!).

I'm glad you got mild weather! :)

  4. My granddaughter called from Georgia and wanted to know if we got snow. Yep there were 4 flakes on the ground this morning. Enough for me right now, but I do have to admit snow would be better than all the rain and gloom.

  6. It looks pretty in your photo! We are getting some much needed rain tonight. I love the sound of rain when it's gentle but I don't like storms or sleet either! Happy holidays my friend!

  13. Oh Ginger, I love seeing pictures of the snow, as I don't see much of it here in sunny California, that is unless we go up in the mountains. There you will find an abundance of snow. I hope the new year is being kind to you, and I hope you're lovin' your new home.
