Click this button to check out all the Swap posts!!I CAME HOME FROM WORK LAST NIGHT TO FIND MY PACKAGE FROM RICKI JILL (Visit her beautiful blog) here, Art @ Home. Ricki Jill is my swap partner for Mamarazzi's Favorite Things Swap. Wait until you see what I received.
Here is my big box...
filled to the brim...
I just adore peanuts...
this is the loot I unpacked from the box, so beautifully wrapped in this bright green and white paper, I hated to open them.
I believe one of the reasons Ricki Jill and I got paired up for this swap (not only due to Mamarazzi having the knack!), but is due to us being Southern Girls and loves of the SEC! Ricki Jill is Alabama and I am Tennessee! She sent me this awesome photo of her beloved Coach Bear Bryant taken with a Tennessee cheerleader. Now, how in the world did she find this? I love this so much and it will be hanging in my office this afternoon.
her card read, "I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite things". " P.S. I thought you would appreciate this photo". Y.E.S.!!
She included the most recent edition of Country Living, which I have not had the opportunity to see yet. I love this cover so much due to the artist theme. If any of you follow Ricki Jill, you know that she is an artist and paints beautiful pictures in her art studio that you can see here . I cannot wait to bury myself in this later today.
A copy of "The Lady and the Unicorn" by Tracy Chevalier, which I have not read and cannot wait to read. Ricki Jill is the connoisseur of books. She belongs to the Dixie Diva Book Club in Birmingham and she posts on her blog every Friday at her Literary Friday the book she has read this week. You can read her latest post of Literary Friday here. I began making a reading list last year of books I want to read from her Literary Friday posts. My list is really long!!
Next I opened this pad of "ALL OUT OF" Knock Knock Pads. They have a magnet on the back so you can place them where it is convenient for you to check items that you need to pick up at the grocery store, plus space to write in items not already on the list. I have never seen these before, but what a great idea and I plan to put it to good use starting today.
Ricki Jill is also a tea connoisseur. She included one of her favorite England's No. 1 Teas and her gluten free Amy's shortbread cookies. Yum! These will come in handy later today when I bury myself in that Country Living magazine!!
This gorgeous bar of soap is Mistral, Grapefruit Red Currant. The smell of this bar of soap is absolutely divine. The packaging is absolutely beautiful. It is "Artist Series" and it is 100% Pure vegetable soap and will be very hard to actually open and use.
Last, but certainly not least is this Aveda Blue Oil. I absolutely love Aveda products, but I have never seen this one. It says to apply to tense areas whenever needed. Gosh, I wonder if it comes in a larger size because I foresee this being used often!
I told you that I am one lucky girl! I am so thrilled with Ricki's favorite things and I believe they are ALL going to become my favorite things too.
Thank you Ricki. I love everything so much. I hope you enjoy even one of my favorite things as much as I'm enjoying yours.
This is my very first "swap" adventure and I have to admit, it is really really fun and could be very addictive. I highly recommend trying one sometime. I hope you will go visit Mamarazzi's blog, Our Dandeline Wishes here and link up to all her linky parties. It is one of my very favorite's things!
Love and hugs, have a happy day!
