An Everyday Occurance!

It is not unusual at all to see deer in our front yard, back yard, neighbors yard almost every day.  Sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon, sometimes both.

We had a bad storm yesterday afternoon and lost electricity for about two and a half hours.  As I was coming upstairs to the office, out the window I saw a Doe Mama and her two babies frolicking in the front yard right outside my window.  I will apologize now for the POOR quality of these pictures.  It was dark from the storm, I took the pictures through the window which includes a screen and the little buggers are so fast that as soon as I got these two pictures snapped, they were GONE!

I hope you can make them out, they are just too cute.

This is truly what it's like living in a Small Town and one of the reasons I love it.

Have a wonderful day.

  1. I would love to look out my window and see deer tiptoeing in my front yard - waht a sight! Sometimes when I get coffee early in the morning I see the wonderous mountains that surround my town. You're so special that you take time out to see the beauty in the world around you. Have a great week.

  2. :D It reminds me of the Chevy Chase movie Funny Farm: "Cue the deer!" LOL Great post.

  3. I so miss the wildlife we saw when we lived in alaska. You are so lucky to be able to see these lovely creatures!
    Have a great weekend!

  4. The fawns are darling. How nice to see that every day. Thanks for sharing with those of us not so lucky.

Talk to me, I promise I will talk back.
