Living in the city but feels like the country...

We have had a lot of rain this past month and cooler temperatures this past week.  Everything is so lush and green right now.  This is so unusual in Kentucky this time of the year.  Usually, by July 4th, it is so dry and hot that the grass crunches when you walk across your yard and turning brown.  So, I have been taking a few pictures around the house because it is so beautiful and I also want to make a photo calendar of my pictures later this year.

I thought I'd share a few...

and it's just unbelievable how my potted plants have grown...

the birds added these impatience's to this planter last summer and they are such a welcome addition!

This pot has been re potted two times because the plants had gotten so large.

I actually live in the city limits in Bardstown, KY, but it looks and feels like I live out in the country somewhere.  This I really love.

So, until we meet again, how are your plants and landscaping holding up this summer?.... Mines doing just fine so far.

I am heading over to Tracie's linky party! @ My Romantic Home: Show and Tell Friday!
