An Introduction to Bardstown, Kentucky and Ginger Zuck

I am not an author, or a writer, or anything like that.  I am just a woman who has a lot of creative energy that feels the necessity to put it somewhere and share it with others.  I don't know if you are familar with Bardstown, Kentucky?  It is a small, quaint, wonderful town in central Kentucky, located approximately 35 - 40 miles from Louisville and Lexington.  It is the Bourbon Capital of the world!  I am not a Bourbon person, (they may hang me from the highest tree if they heard me say that), but Bourbon is a HUGE deal around these parts.

I have lived her since 1998.  My late husband's employment transferred us here and I am so grateful!  I never knew Bardstown existed.  For the first 3 or 4 years that we lived here I never got to appreciate Bardstown because I worked for Corporate America and commuted to Louisville every day and by the weekends, I got to clean house on Saturday and crash on Sunday's.

Unfortunately, I only got to start enjoying Bardstown, discovered the joy it brings you, the people and friendships I've made over the years until my husbands sudden death in December of 2006.  That's pretty sad.  So that is why I want to share Bardstown, KY with others who may be like me.  I hope you will take a look at some of the wonderful things our small town has to offer and come visit us! and if you prefer, we'll have a nice glass of wine, which is my Bourbon of choice!

Until we meet again......
